Thoughts About the Location
“Great staff, awesome location!!”

Canada“Room was fine to stay in. Close to old Montreal where we were interested in going to a lot. Close to many events and festivals going on at the time. All within walking distance in about 10 to 15 minutes. Terrace was a great place to sit in after a day of touring and meeting other people staying in the hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating and did what they could with the little they had. Not enough towels provided. Had to keep asking for more.”

"Relaxed atmosphere, charming staff. More of a hostel; than a hotel: I liked that. A little informal in many ways for experienced hotel stayers. Quiet. Air-con about to be fitted."

"Staff was super helpful and friendly, helped us find everything we needed in the city. We're very patient with us considering we don't speak much French"

"Old house near the intercity bus station and within walking distance of the historical part of the city, the entertainment district and other interesting neighbourhoods. Expect small but adequate rooms with clean bathrooms, a mostly pleasant staff and decent breakfasts. Good for its price."

"My second time here. It is a comfy and warm room. Staff are super friendly and helpful! I left my stuff there and they gave me back 2 days later. They are so nice. Definitely will come back again! Near to subway station and bus station. Walk distance to almost everything."

"The staff was perfectly friendly, if not overly gregarious - though I think that may have had to do with my lack of French making it harder to communicate, which is totally fair. Location is easy walking distance to tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and night life, as well as Old Montreal. You're about a mile-mile and a half from big shopping districts, which wasn't a big deal for me because I'm used to walking everywhere and it's my preferred way to explore. The hotel itself is a little kitsch, a little weird in a good way. Totally fine if you just need a place to crash and are more concerned about price than fancy. It was really clean and plenty spacious. I had a room with a private bath, but I walked by the shared bathroom and it looked much nicer. I'd still always prefer private, but that's me."

"This is a funky "boutique" hotel right downtown Montreal. The rooms were eclectic but comfortable and clean. It is an old building with lots of character."

"While not fancy the room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. The incense smell when first walk in was strong but not in room so ok. The location was incredible."

"Great value in a good location. We stayed here for one night and we went out so weren't there for long . It is a small accommodation without breakfast and it is very basic but for the price we payed it was fine . It's a shared bathroom with everyone on the floor and there is only one . Nice staff , clean beds and towels "

"The room was adorable and the bed was super comfortable. Perfect for just a one night stay. Pretty clean as well, with our own bay window with chairs and a table was a nice touch."
