What Guests Loved the Most:

"Location, location, location!! Pretty central and within walking distance to old Montreal, old port of Montreal, and on major bus routes. We caught a bus right to Saint Josephs oratory from our hotel. It's also near Rue Saint Catherine, many AWESOME crêperies, Tim Hortons, subway etc. Also within walking distance to many metro stations and VIA rail. The price is great for the location but you get what you pay for in this super old building. The staff were super nice and held our bags for the day when we weren't leaving until a late train."

"Although my Check-in time was supposed to be in the afternoon (I arrived at 8am), they allowed me to pack my car and collected my car keys and luggage for safe keeping while I proceeded to work."

"The room itself was a nice size, and it had an excellent digital heater placed strategically below the window. The TV was very good and well-placed. The cable selection was also good. The other guests were relatively quiet."

"For a funky budget hotel, this property was fine. It was noisy in the morning as it is located on a busy street, but a good location to easily get to the main sightseeing attractions in Montreal."

"Good position. Notre-Dame is only a ten-minutes walking distance. Near the hotel there are many restaurants, the subway and a very good place that makes good coffe."

"Great location. Walking distance to the business and shopping district, Parc Mount Royal, underground city, Montreal Jazz Fest. No frills hotel but clean. Dependable staff. No morning coffee available BUT 2 doors down is THE BEST FRENCH BISTRO serving exceptional coffee, pastries and lunches. The name of it is LES MOULIN LA FAYETTE."
